Dei Verbum - 2020 Bible Quiz - Registration and Information

Rules, Guidelines and Schedule
The Diocesan Bible Quiz is conducted at three levels (Parish, Zonal and Diocesan) for various age groups. The adult group can choose either the English or Malayalam version of the quiz at all three levels. The English Bible Quiz is based on The New American Bible, Revised Edition (NABRE) whereas the Malayalam one is based on the POC Malayalam Bible.

Groups:

Sub-Junior (Grades 4 - 6)
Junior (Grades 7- 8)
Senior (Grades 9 -12)
Adult (Above 12th Grade; Youth and Adults)

Topics:

Gospel of Mark - Parish level and Zonal level (for all Groups)
Gospel of Mark and Acts of the Apostles - Diocesan level (for all Groups)

Bible Quiz Dates:

Parish Level (Written) : Sunday, Dec 8th ,2019 (For our parish)
Zonal Level (Written) : Sunday, February 2nd, 2020
Diocesan Level (Onstage) : Saturday, March 21st ,2020

Registration Deadline : (Sunday, October 13th, 2019)

Note: CCD Kids Grade 4 and above are automatically registered and will take part in the Parish Level Bible Quiz. No separate registration required

Prize/Awards: Awards and cash prizes will be presented to the final onstage Bible Quiz winners (individual) from each group. The first, second and third place winners will receive a cash award, personal trophy and a certificate. The rest of the onstage participants will receive a personal trophy and certificate.

First Prize - ($1500, includes trophy and cash award for each group)
Second Prize - ($750, includes trophy and cash award for each group)
Third Prize - ($500, includes trophy and cash award for each group)
